Iron Tide Command is a slower, brainier kind of game. You command a small fleet across grid-based maps, managing fuel, positioning and line of sight. Rush in and you'll lose ships fast; think ahead and it clicks beautifully.
The campaign builds difficulty gently, and there's a skirmish mode for quick sessions. We appreciated that the AI plays reasonably instead of just cheating with extra units.
Everything works offline and the battles pause the moment you close the app. Perfect for stealing ten tactical minutes between meetings.
