Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is atmosphere first. You explore an abandoned coastal town at night, solving environmental puzzles and slowly piecing together what happened. The sound design does a lot of heavy lifting, so play it with headphones.

Puzzles are logical rather than obtuse. We never had to look anything up, which is rare and welcome. The pacing gives you room to breathe between discoveries.

It's a compact experience, maybe four or five hours, and every minute is offline. A lovely one to play in bed with the lights off.
